Erica Passage is a maker living in Denver, Colorado with her partner and their sweet RezDog rescue Birdie.  When Erica is not making pottery she spends time riding her bike down dusty gravel roads and exploring the truly scenic byways throughout the Colorado Front Range.  Currently, she is the Visual and Product Movement  Specialist at Recreational Equipment Incorporated (REI) in Lakewood, CO.

Erica creates porcelain, wheel-thrown, tableware that is fired to cone 6 in oxidation.  Her work uses repeating motifs and the exploration of cute in the mundane.  Captured in vintage Mayco glazes are fleeting moments that hover and move over the forms she creates. Her surfaces are formed by a layering of techniques such as mishima, sgraffito and underglaze decals.
